Was Jesus Crucified! (Supported by bible and history) Whether Jesus was crucified is a billion dollar question, doing rounds of the world, uncared for by any. Christians assert it was true, of course without any evidence in history and atheists deny it, certainly required no evidence for that, but unconvincing to believers numbering 2.2 billions. The reason is there are some links, though vague, connected him with history. Revealed clearly all about crucifixion of Jesus is (historical evidence will follow) Paul asked Galatians (3:1), ‘Are you people of Galatia mad? Has some one put a spell on you, in spite of the explanation you have had of the crucifixion of Christ? (Jerusalem Bible)’ But read new world Bible translated it as, “O senseless Galatians, who is it that brought you under evil influence, you before whose eyes Jesus Christ was openly portrayed impaled? Here you find Paul has revealed unmistakable Jesus told him, crucifixion was something to be explained than a fact divulged! The same is you find Paul revealed in 1 Corinthians (1:17) about Jesus told him that ‘For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the good news, and not to preach in terms of Philosophy, in which the crucifixion of Christ cannot be expressed. The language of the cross may be “illogical to those who are not on the way of salvation”, but for those of us who are on the way see it as God’s power to save’. (Jerusalem bible). The same you read in new world bible as, ‘For Christ dispatched me, not to go baptizing, but to go declaring the good news, that the torture stake of the Christ should not be made useless’. Here, Jesus is telling Paul clearly, ‘you shall not exhibit your skills/knowledge in language explaining the philosophy his good news divulged; then what?; oppress it as a physical crucifixion?; Yes, why?, otherwise introduction of cross will be difficult? What does it mean? It only means and invariably that Jesus did not sent him to baptize, but to preach good news, and not as a philosophy, (then how?) but as an event, otherwise introduction of cross will be impossible. How was it then made possible? By converting it an event? Yes! In clarification if we asked the sentence a question what did Jesus mean when he said his good news shall not be preached as a philosophy because crucifixion element in it cannot be expressed wordily, we get an answer unequivocal, his dismissal from Nazarenes and landing amidst robbers characterized as crucifixion amidst them, occasioned him save robbers out of sins, (was the philosophy he invented, rather wanted to be conveyed, but) does not become expressed as his crucifixion! Then how shall it be expressed? As an event? Yes, it is same and nothing else gospels claim Jesus was crucified and they are saved by it! Otherwise, if he wanted to convey to the world was a factum of crucifixion, he should not have said it was a philosophy and that it cannot be expressed by words hence has to be portrayed as an event. No, exactly is Paul too told Galatians, revealed whole truth about it, also reason why Christians are made to affirm on oath every day that they believed it? And what logic did he hide in it to tell the readers that language of his cross was logic and not fact? Nothing more than a depiction in story as Paul rightly told Galatians! Continue, (whole in the web unknownhistoryofjesuschrist/?p=225).
