Was astounded to hear that during my admission in hospital, there was an eighty-four year old cystic fibrosis patient on the ward. When I was born eighteen years ago and diagnosed at birth, my parents told me then that I would only live until I was roughly fifty years old. After having a conversation with him, he was one of the nicest men I have had the pleasure of speaking to. He did not look a day over fifty, himself. That man is well and truly kicking CFs butt!
