Watched the World Wars on History Channel. it was pretty good even though I thought the code talkers or Ira Hayes couldve used a mention. at least Adam Beach anyways. but anyways I had this thought a long time ago, that Hirohito, he started the Asian revolution. He had no real plans to dominate the world or take over america, regardless of what people from those times would say. Mostly Hirohito wanted to show Asias strength. To earn respect for Asia. He invaded and occupied other Asian countries because he believed that Asia belonged to Asians, and Not Western powers or influence. After the defeat of Japan, and the withdrawal of Japanese occupational forces from other Asian countries, there was one thing that didnt withdraw, and that was Hirohitos belief in Asian sovereignty. So it was him that sparked the revolutions in China, Korea, Vietnam. Vietnam, even defeated the United States. Although they were communist revolutions, it was that platform that was necessary to unite and win their countries back, and gave them a chance to develop their industries and economies into the major players that they are now. and Now, China basically owns America. Id say Hirohito won.
