Watching Olympus has Fallen I get the movie is suppose to inspire some sort of patriotism within its audience.. But my god this movie is stupid af. The only thing displayed here is how unorganized and un prepared america would be in the event of an enemy invasion. The government had already confirmed that in the event of an enemy invasion of our homeland we would immediately nuke the fk out of the invading country. Mutual shared destruction is the only reason these invasions are no longer possible. Literally 15 minutes into the movie the P.o.t.u.s is in a meeting with a high North Korean delegate discussing the immanent North Korean threat. Within that time an unidentified aircraft has entered dc???! Wtf? They would have had to cross the airspace of a minimum of 2 states? How did they reach dc? And what in the hell compelled the pilots to reason with an unidentified aircraft in F...ing dc? In real life they would have been shot down in Pennsylvania. If not by either the Canadian or Mexican air force. And why would the president sit with a mere delegate of north Korea knowing they are planning to invade. Im only 30 minutes into the movie and this much has gone wrong. Antoine fuqa should never be allowed within 100 miles of a movie studio again. Dont watch this movie
