Watching (for abou tthe 200th time) COAL MINERS DAUGHTER, 1980 directed by Micael Ritchie, and winning Sissy Spacek the Oscar as Loretta Lynne.....Tommy Lee Jones is fantastic as her husband Doo, and Beverly DAngelo knocks the socks of the role of ill fated Patsy cline...Beverly adn Sissy did all their own signing as their characters...it kind of loses a little steam towards the end, but i just love this movie, even though, being from Oklahoma Country and Western music grated on my British Invasion Nerves. Anyway, nice monday night flic since the AVS couldnt quite take it tonight!
