Water ingress is it not your worst nightmare, well one poor woman bought a beautiful flat in west moors, only the inconsiderate developers thought it would be ok to extend past the cavity wall but not put in a cavity tray and when water got past the upstairs window it just dripped into her dinning room. wrecked that room and continued into hall. All fixed now, new insulation, new ceiling and all decorated. Lovely jubbley , oh and the jokers thought it was ok to insulate the cavity with expanding foam.
