Way back in high school, I remember swearing to myself and anyone who cared to listen that I would never choose to be a nurse and yet here I am now, a newly registered nurse and all I can say is thank you...Its not much but its all I can give...So to my parents who loved and supported me unconditionally even when it seemed like I was going nowhere...Thank you... To my brother who is a constant source of encouragement and dry humor that always managed to make me laugh...Thank you... To my friends whod been with me through the ups and downs and never failed to make my day...Thank you... To my teachers and mentors who encouraged me to take the plunge and believe in my abilities even when I didnt...Thank you... And last but not least, to God Almighty who placed me on this Earth with the chance to make something of myself and who has never let me down...Thank you... It has been one heck of a ride to get to this point and plenty of blood, sweat and tears had been shed but despite prior complaints, I wouldnt have had it any other way...
