We Celebrated Heritage day, planting trees at Algoa Social and Open Door of Hope, situated between Algoa Park and Missionvale. In the rain we planted 6 trees that will in the near future provide shade for the women and children of the area. Thank you to Sherwood Gardens for donating 4 trees, 2 bags of compos and 1 bag of bonemeal. Also Thank you to Builders Warehouse who kindly donated 2 Huge trees :) We also treated a 100 kids from the area to chips and icys. Big thank you to the Lions who braved the rain to plant trees, Sanet Emmerick Morne Von Waltsleben Tilly Strydom Sandra Dunstan Nadine Low Ah Kee Collette Schimper Collins Taryn Koen Wesley Sherman and Happy Helper Kyle Strydom. Also thank you to Justin and Stanley for assisting with digging the holes for the trees. We wish Gary Low Ah Kee a speedy recovery, in hospital after a appendix operation. Great team effort as always, now we can watch our trees grow :)
