We all had a great weekend with Joseph. Today he will have surgery. They are checking his bone marrow count and putting in a PICC line. He cant have the Hickman line yet due to the fungal infection. The fungal infection is very rare and the Dr said will take several months to treat. The bone marrow transplant is delayed due to this. We are not sure how long of a wait. Just day by day taking everything. Lord, give us this day our daily bread. I was reading Psalm 78 recently. I was struck by a verse that said God led the Israelites by a cloud by day and a fire by night. I was thinking of all the ways we have seen Gods hand during this night season. He shines with fire in the night so we can see Him if we are truly looking. Gods grace is sufficient. Pray that God would protect Joseph from all these medications they have to give him. Some of them can have very harmful long term side effects. Praying Joseph will quit having fevers in the night and can go back to the Ronald McDonald House soon. May God bless us continually with the faith to declare, My times are in your hands O Lord.
