We all saw what happened when the EBT system problem caused the cards to have no limit. People went wild in Walmart and cleared the shelves. The exact same thing happens when our government doesnt have a spending limit. They take our hard earned tax money and frivolously spend spend spend. Only when the debt ceiling is reached is there any leverage to stop the spending. Sadly the republicans have betrayed the American people and agreed to raise the debt limit without any spending concessions. We expect this irresponsibility from democrats, but we will need to do some republican house cleaning via the 2014 primaries. We need to remove and replace all who vote to continue this irresponsible spending.
