We also visited our original church site on the Finca de la Soledad. Only three of our families still live on the Finca as of this weekend. Most are now living in the new Colony where the new church is. We stayed at the Colony. NHP and the Presbytery have supported development over the years, which has allowed our sister church families to own their own homes and have a church site that is not owned on company/Finca land. Saturnino was born on the Finca and is very proud of improvements theyve made to the original church including roof repairs and a new paint job on the exterior. Most of the neighboring Finca based churches are no longer there. More roof repairs are still needed to maintain the original structure.
