We apologize for any offense that may have been caused by Kristi’s words, and can assure you she meant no disrespect. The reference to a rain dance, while an unfortunate choice, was inadvertent – we were exiting our weather segment and there had been some discussion off-air about the possibility of rain during the show. Kristi is an intelligent caring person and quite upset that her comment may have offended anyone. Last week we extended our apologies to the person who first brought this to our attention, and have since spoken with and apologized to Emma’s family.
