We are asking each and every Ukrainian who cares about Ukraine and the people on the Maidan to call the President, their Senators, and their Representatives. For people who do not know how to do this, a list of instructions are include further below or you can print out the attached PDF file. Additionally, we are asking each SUM oserderok, Plast Stanycia, or any other interested people to organize the following 1. Each Saturday - Set up a Maidan Information table at your local Ukrainian School. 2. Each Sunday - Set up a Maidan Information table at your local Church. 3. Print out the instructions listed in the attachment or at the bottom of this email. 4. Distribute the information to each and every person you meet at Ukrainian School or Church. 5. Your help will be greatly appreciated by the people on the Maidan. How to help Ukraine #1 Please pin this up on your refrigerator and execute these instructions daily To contact President Obama: Weekdays 9-5 call the President’s Comment Line 1-202-456-1111 - Then leave a message. Any message will do – it does not have to be long or elaborate. Example: I am asking President Obama to directly condemn the actions of the Ukrainian government against its own people. I am asking President Obama to impose sanctions against President Yanukovich and the Ukrainian government. The Ukrainian people need your help now. Thank You. Leave an online message to the President. Go to whitehouse.gov/ In the upper right hand corner click Contact Us In the upper left hand portion click on Submit Questions and comments Or cut and past the following link whitehouse.gov/contact/submit-questions-and-comments Enter all the required fields Who are you trying to contact – select President Obama Enter your name, email, and address. Enter your comment. Again, it does not have to be elaborate or long. It can be the same as the example above. You must answer the challenge question to make sure you are a human. Hit SUBMIT To Contact your Senators: a. Go to senate.gov/ b. In the upper right hand corner, click on the Find Your Senators Box – and select your State and then click GO For example, Select IL c. Two Senators will pop up.
