We are back home from our overnight stay on the beach along the Texas Gulf in Port Aransas, TX. We have a small, 2 man tent that was just big enough for a king sized air mattress. My husband and I (and the dogs) all slept very comfortably. We didnt close the windows so we did have nice fresh air and the sound of the waves lulling us to sleep. It was pretty chilly by morning, but we brought along plenty of blankets, so not a problem. Last night, we sat around the campfire that we built on the beach. I warmed my feet there and we cooked wienies over the fire. The set up was easy, the dogs did great, and we had a wonderful time camping out. Although I love living in our motor home, I also like being outdoors and I am definitely looking forward to doing this many more times in the future.
