We are excited to announce that The Flying Dutchmen began their cross-country trip this morning! Jon, a local rider and entrepreneur with a taste for adventure, left today with his good friend Daryl on a epic ride from Goshen to Cape Lookout, Oregon with a documentary film crew following them. Daryl has been losing his vision over the last year and in an effort to create memories, Jon is taking Daryl on an unforgettable road trip across America. The documentary will be released in the coming year and will chronicle the many challenges of riding a small-displacement motorcycle with a sidecar and two grown men across the country. Starting in Goshen, Indiana, they are taking a custom Janus Halcyon 50 sidecar rig on a two-week journey to the Pacific. They hit the road this morning without phones, GPS, or credit cards, and with a pact to avoid all chain or franchise establishments. Sound crazy? Yep. Follow their Facebook page for updates!
