We are going to start killing the roosters Saturday. I am only able to sell whole chickens at this time. They are outside everyday so they are getting plenty of fresh air and sunshine (or clouds today). They are fun to watch when they come out of their house in the mornings. They jump up and flap their wings and carry on with each other. Some are starting to crow although they havent gotten their voice for that yet. They are 9 weeks old now. We havent had any problems with their legs or anything. Of course if they were penned up all the time they probably would grow larger faster, but that is not a good thing to me.
