We are in the planning stages for our next mission trip to Nicaragua from Marietta First Baptist. We are so excited and we are beginning to collect items to take with us. If any of my Facebook friends would like to pick up some items over the next few months here is a partial list of items most needed :) Large bottles of Advil or Tylenol *Walmart and Sams are the most reasonably priced I have found Small sewing kits (think Dollar Tree) Or things to make up a small sewing kit Hard candy (nothing that will melt) Any personal care/hygiene items such a as deodorant, bars of soap, washcloths Flip flops If anyone wishes to help please let me know and I will be happy to come to your house to pick these items up. If you wish to collect them over the next few months a little at a time that would be so generous of you, and we would be taking a small part of you with us on our mission trip. I am reminded of the passage from Matthew 25:34-40......verse 40 says And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me. Most of all we covet your prayers. The trip is planned for February 2015. Also, if you feel led to contribute financially you may send a donation directly to Marietta First Baptist and you will receive credit for your taxes.
