We know what you’re probably thinking….something along the lines of, “Wait, what?” Our goal is to help guide you toward altering your lifestyle by making slow, gradual changes to your overall health. When you tell yourself you can’t have a specific food, how often do you find yourself craving it? Most of the time, right? Which can lead to “giving in” and feelings of guilt (which usually derails any kind of “diet”). Well guys, we firmly believe that guilt and food are not meant to be associated. Eating is for pleasure and even more importantly, to fuel our busy selves. We also believe that life is about balance and not perfection, so we’ve provided you with a list of what we call our Nutrient Superstars – nutrient dense foods that will keep you satiated, alert, and fueled. We encourage you to create meals using these foods are your primary ingredients. That said, as two very busy individuals, we also realize this isn’t possible 100% of the time. So when you’re in a position where you aren’t able to do so, we still encourage you to choose 3 foods off the list and add them to whatever meal it is you’re eating. This might change your mindset from guilt to pride, knowing you’ve increased the nutrient density of your meal. Add to this mix exercise (no matter what your level of activity is), water, a decent amount of sleep, some “me time”, focus on gratitude and you have the Mind Body Reset. Pretty simple, right?
