We are just south of the New York State border in northwestern Pennsylvania. It is beautiful here. While coming cross country, we found the most unusual sight, a real boom town. From 1863 to 1868, Pithole City went from zero to 15,000 to 6,000, and back to zero. It was booming due to oil. We spent an hour or so walking around the former town. There is no trace of it, except for the indentations where building foundations were. It was so amazing. We were on two-lane and/or gravel roads for a couple hours and saw literally hundreds of deer and lots of wild turkey. They were so quick that the only picture of deer I got was one white tail sticking straight up! sdrv.ms/1aRAh5a
