We are looking for Multi Media and Digital Sales Stars! Wicked Local Media Solutions is seeking Multi-Media Advertising Representatives – based in Various Mass. Locations Job Responsibilities: Wicked Local is a multi-media local news organization and a leader in delivering local content to consumers and local marketing solutions to businesses. The media industry is in an exciting state of change. With the help from professionals like you, we’ll continue our success in these efforts. This person will be responsible for growing advertising revenues through the consultative sale of both print and digital solutions including newspaper, specialty publications, direct mail, digital display, SEO, PPC, social media, mobile, website development and local services. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to maximize revenue potential to meet company/business objectives, demonstrate consultative sales skills, have strong analytical and research capabilities to develop multi-media proposals and presentations to potential clients; must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, be capable of executing dynamic presentations, have exceptional problem solving abilities, demonstrate excellent MS Office capabilities. Essential Skills: The ideal candidate must be an aggressive sales professional with proven sales success in managing a book of business in addition to developing new business. Prior media sales experience required with a commitment to exceptional customer service. • Work independently to identify, propose and present multi-media solutions to existing and prospective clients in New England • Engage and strategize with advertising clients to demonstrate Wicked Local’s value proposition and how we can assist them in meeting their marketing objectives through a variety of digital products and services Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years advertising sales experience with demonstrated success in growing revenue: • Understanding and demonstrated application of a consultative sales approach • Understand and be able to articulate the value proposition of selling hyper local audiences • Demonstrated proficiency in SFDC or similar CRM solution. • Experience working with and/or selling to small and large/national businesses including agencies. • Nimble thinker and entrepreneurial instincts and a willingness to develop untested sales products and strategies. • The desire and ability to be largely self-directed as necessary. • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills. • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications – specifically Excel and Power Point.
