We are pleased to introduce you to Francisco Andeliz, Chef Concierge for our New York City property opening in February 2015. Read more about Mr. Andeliz below in this employee spotlight: How did you begin your career in hospitality? My hospitality career began as a Front Desk Agent at one of the largest hotel chains in the United States. There, I was given the opportunity to transfer to the Concierge Department. While working as a Concierge, I was also able to participate and complete the Front Office Managers development program. What brought you to Baccarat Hotels & Resorts? The iconic Baccarat brand and the reputable management company behind it. What do you do in your role at Baccarat? As Chef Concierge, I manage the Concierge Team and act as the main hotel guest contact for enhancing guest experiences. Whats your favorite thing about what you do in your specific role? A Concierge has the freedom to be truly creative when offering our services. It is a very unique and exciting role. What are you most excited about working for this new hotel brand? Being part of the opening team, seeing the product developing, and participating in the excitement of something very unique and highly anticipated. What makes working for Baccarat different from working at other hotel brands? Thus far, the energy, excitement, and teamwork. What do admire most about the heritage of Baccarat? Love the lighting line as well as the tableware... perfection!
