We are really happy to announce this new edition, which has required a great amount of work and research, and which we believe it is an important publication: the first critical edition of Ferdinand Rebay’s seven surviving solo sonatas, a major discovery in the guitar repertoire. Six of them are based on a three- or four-movement structure, while the remaining work, the D minor Sonate in einem Satz (Sonata in one movement), actually consists of four linked movements. This is a unique an special clothbound edition, printed on high quality paper, with engraved signature of Ferdinand Rebay and including a new portrait picture of the composer, courtesy of his heirs.
