We are returning to childrens hospital oncology at 8:00 am tomorrow morning for our 2nd round of chemo. Its a bittersweet day. I hate to take him back there to be poisoned within an inch of death. To watch him get so very sick, to see him be so sad and depressed and feel so alone. Then I think...my part in this fight is to make him do the things he doesnt yet understand. Its to be the comfort and strength when he has none. Its to lift him and surrender him to The Lord for peace. Its to be there and jump around silly to catch the occasional smile. We have a short 3 chemo treatments left! Im ready to put on the armor of God and fight this battle to the end knowing the victory had already been won by Christ our Lord! As much as we as parents dont like to see our children struggle or experience pain. Pain is what grows us. God is so very awesome. He is faithful, and answers the prayers of his children. Im convinced of this and am standing strong for this little boy.
