We are still hanging out in hospital and we are in the process of changing Mitchells treatment plan again. We have a lot of information to gather and sort through before we can make some decisions. Mitchell had a bone marrow aspirate yesterday to check that its still cancer free and next week he will have a kidney function test and a full body pet scan. We will also be consulting with another surgeon and specialists in Sydney and hopefully get a new plan in place. Mitchell spiked a fever yesterday which took quite a few hours to resolve. This is a concern so soon after bone marrow aspirate but it most likely due to the removal of the stent in his kidney earlier in the week so will need to be closely monitored. He has started antibiotics and is already feeling better! For now things are stable, Mitchell is slowly improving and we are comfortable with the way discussions are progressing regarding his ongoing treatment.
