We are thankful for our visitors who have come to Haiti to enjoy Thanksgiving with us! As is our new custom, the kiddos had their big Thanksgiving feast this evening. Tomorrow will be our family and visitor meal. I thank God for each of you who love the children at HIS Home and hope that you all have a very Happy Thanksgiving!!! We continue to appreciate prayers for Jonathan! He is holding his own, but his weight is continuing to drop. The good news is that he coped well off of oxygen today long enough to get him to a hospital lab for tests, As we drove thru the streets holding his IV bag up and out of the window of the car, I was surprised how many cars stopped for us to pass thru the streets, and showed compassion for this sick baby! Quite a project taking him out, with his suction machine, IVs, pulse ox to monitor oxygen levels, etc. Staff at the hosp. were quick to get him in and out so he could return home to his oxygen. Today was the first time he was able to keep all meds in his stomach. A good sign... Now praying that he will be able to drink his formula again soon! For tonight, he is resting comfortably.
