We as a country that includes each and everyone of us have not long ago spent 3.6 million pound on the funeral of a former priminister a person who in her own right was a millionaire her family wealth is bigger enough to lead a coup on a small african country if they so desired ooops sorry sir mark you already tried that. Yet today we say goodbye to a little girl of 2 years old who has died of neuroblastoma a vicious form of childhood cancer a cancer which luckily only affects less than 100 children a year. So what has that got to do with thatchers funeral you may ask well this is what it has got to do with it £250,000 was all that was needed to send this little girl called amelia-mae davies to the states for treatment a treatment that would of improved her chances of survival by upto a massive 80% the 3.6 million we have just spent on a millionaires funeral could help save just under 20% of the children who will be diagnosed with this cancer this year a massive 1/5 of these kids would get the chance that amelia-mae never got. This treatment is not available in the uk probably because of cost im not sure but each taxpayer this year will pay £137 in tax that goes to foreign aid that equals around 11.3 BILLION pound we do need foreign aid to help third world countries develop but not at the expense of little kids who are loosing there lives to a cancer that can be cured and should be cured i never used to like referring to the uk as the uk i always liked to refer to it as great britain but great i dont think so any more please spread this message if agree and repost to spread the word Thanks Howard
