We cant wait to see the panel that Scott Enright and Kauai Mayor Carvalho will put together. This is good news, the State is FINALLY RESPONDING AFTER TEN YEARS to concerns about pesticide use with GE operations, but both DOA head and Carvalho are known pro-GMO proponents. Usually when they do something like this, the panels are stacked with pro-GMO folks. We are glad the state is finally BEGINNING to look into the issues on KAUAI not to mention Maui, Molokai or Oahu but, its a start. And we will be watching VERY CLOSELY as to who the panels include. MAHALO. Of course, some could say its a political move by Carvalho, nervous about Dustin Barcas race against him. Carvalho may be trying to get back the votes he lost when he vetoed a Kauai law to require PESTICIDE and GE TEST CROP DISCLOSURE and PESTICIDE SPRAYING BUFFER ZONES around schools, homes, hospitals and water. Thanks for moving it forward, we are right at your back looking right over your shoulder and we hope to see a FAIR AND ETHICAL PANEL NOT MADE OF PRO-GMO CHEMICAL INDUSTRY PEOPLE AND LOBBYISTS. No more of the same ole same ole, you want to do a study, we deserve fair results.
