We celebrate the development of our country, but paid little attention to what the removal of trees and the concrete yards mean for those below. As we see at the airport, and in Kingstown, the run off water has increased tremendously while we do not have the drains and tunnels to channel the water. Our development has outstripped and overwhelmed our infrastructure. The disasters are coming fast and furious and are sabotaging our efforts at recovery. The time has come for hard decisions. SVG on my mind. What must we do? What can we do?
