We dont go out much because Im too sick to do much at all...... I made a HUGE mistake and let my youngest play in the McDonalds play area twice this week because Im light sensitive as I await brain surgery and the park is hard for me. It seemed easier to feed them and let them get some energy out. ANYWAY... We were JUST THERE the day before yesterday and my little one just came down with a 101.5 fever this morning! We have been no where else and not exposed to anything else. I called the manager.. They only clean it every few weeks and do a wipe down nightly... I said their wipe downs must not be very good because my kids came out of there BLACK... Maybe twice a day wipe downs are necessary? What do they use to wipe it down??? The manager was not very helpful... Said he would look in to it but no apology. I think our mcdonalds has really gone Downhill lately. You can tell by the high turnover in employees. Im temped to go over there with white wet wipes to PROVE how filthy it is... Would that be too crazy mom of me? Not only do I hate to see my baby sick, but I hope this is cleared the whole family before I have brain surgery, I cannot have it put off.. I have to fly to North Carolina on the 23rd for surgery and cant be sick. So just a warning... Not sure what steps I should take. Its the only place I took the kids this week to get them out because I felt guilty. And sadly the only time Ive ever let them play in there.. So I feel awful that I broke my own rules and let them play.
