We dont see things as they are, we see things as we are. That was a profound statement I read years ago that altered my future forever. It became my baseline of human understanding. Self improvement and personal development became so important. I discovered that our eyes seek out evidence to support our current beliefs and until you can gain greater insight and perspective, you will stay stuck in what can become narrow minded thinking. We become over -opinionated, therefore critical and judgmental to differences in others. Ive just described the journey that we all go through with our friendships and family members who dont understand our choices in our pursuits. Things change. Dreams are born. Goals are set. New people come into our lives that have us see the world differently than maybe we ever have before and your heart swells with a passion to do something great. Just know not everyone who you will want to go with you, will go. Once we know what we were meant to do and your insides have been re wired for a greater life, your eyes focus and you see what you have never seen before, your destiny. Nothing and no one can stop you. Theyll try but dont let them. Be true to yourself. Its yours so go get it. No one can mess with a made up mind. ~ Larry Raskin
