We got to do some amazing networking and note sharing this weekend. On Saturday we talked organic poultry/livestock feed with an amazing group of like-minded area producers and we are excited about coordinating efforts and moving forward to gain better access to better feeds. Thank you Trish Jenkins and Jeremy Smith of Cycle Farm, Jimmy Doyle of 4 Winds Farm, Zack Carter, Mike Grosek, Laurie and Bernard Barnaud, and Ed Dykstra of Good Earth Natural Foods for attending and sharing your knowledge, needs, and enthusiasm. Yesterday we got to have our annual supper with Trish and Jeremy of Cycle Farm to compare notes from the 2014 CSA season and provide mutual moral support for the upcoming season. We love our local food producer friends!
