We had a close call with my niece. Mommy is so exhausted and on heavy narcotics due to her emergency c-section. I am VERY upset with the hospital staff. They left mom and baby ALONE after she told them she could barely stay awake. When the nurse returned Christy had fell asleep with Izzy. Izzy fell down between mom and the railing of the bed, pressed face down into the mattress. They found her just in time. She was still breathing but her respirations were very slow. Everything is OK now, but please pray mom is able to get the proper help she needs for her and Izzy. She was so devastated and scared. She is refusing pain medication because she is scared it will happen again. 😢
