We had a very busy day. Mondays are full of therapy. He gets three types at school and then occupational in the evening. He is pretty exhausted by the end of the day. He is doing great with his sensory development . Loud noises and other children crying dont upset him. I think being at school has helped him overcome having sensory overload. Today his therapist worked on the shapes again with him. He is a very persistent child. He also has a very strong will when he doesnt want something. We have to push past that and keep encouraging new activities. He did more drawing and scribbling today than he has ever done. He is not too interested in that right now but his therapist is continuing to work with him and he is doing more. He gets frustrated sometimes and shows aggression through pinching. He knows its wrong and when we correct him he signs sorry. I guess if there is a positive to the behavior, its that he is acting like a typical toddler. Im thankful we are seeing signs of age appropriate behavior. We dont allow him to misbehave, we just take into consideration each situation and let help him communicate. I was able to get some video of how hard he works with his shapes.
