We had a very productive day in the field today. We were able to bring straw and food and treats to 27 dogs. Five were ones we met about ten days ago and we were able to follow up. We met this new girl, a shy but sweet German Shepherd, who comes in at night, but needed her house stuffed with straw (it was cold and raining and snowing out there today)and wanted some treats too. We did get some VERY SAD news: a dog we met just in August got off his chain last week and was killed in the road. We are so sad to see our Sweet Buddy go to the Rainbow Bridge so soon. We are happy to have brought him some extra love in his final months. RIP, sweet boy. And as always, thanks to our great volunteers.
