We had a wonderful day today at HITS 6. I get great pleasure out of watching everyone learn so much, whether they win a ribbon or not. Its all a process. But it sure is Fun to win! Diva smoked them in the $15,000 Grand Prix today!!!! There were 45 starters. We drew last to go. She easily handled the long first round course, with its square oxers and tough triple. I knew Laura Chapot had been blazing and held the lead. In the jump off I never touched the reins. I asked Diva to run like a race horse and she did! She focused and turned perfectly going flat out! Diva really won it, nothing lucky. I am extremely proud of her performance today! Heart Of Gold also competed in the Grand Prix today. It was the biggest course hes ever jumped. I am very proud of him, jumping with a 4 fault score! In fact he rubbed a tall, simple vertical and jumped all of the big, hard fences really well. Hoffy won an A/O hunter class on True Story. He also placed 6th. In the A/O hunters Only One took 5th & 6th. Victoria and Hey Jude had the fastest time in the Modified Jr A/O. They pulled a late rail and placed 7th! Carolina and Checkers also had a fast round in the Modified class. They had 1 down and finished just out of the money. Caitlyn in her Low Jr Speed finished 6th on a Bink & 7th on Aslan. All of our horses and riders had a long very good day today!
