We had the BEST time last night! Pinterest gave me the BEST idea a while back and I decided to put it into play last night... I ordered an inflatable family pool from walmart (some are on sale right now for end of summer) and Ive been keeping it in my trunk (my hiding place from Jeff) ;) til needed. Well, last night I told him to blow it up and dont ask any questions. (He still did) I said, No questions, remember?! He obliged and off to my daddys house to use his air compressor he went. Twenty-something minutes later, he had it ready to go and I met him with my bag of goodies. We sat it in the darkest part of the backyard, put in a blanket and pillows and Voila! A star watchers heaven!!!! Once we saw how nice it was, we decided to make the kids come out. (They were preoccupied earlier.) They brought their pillows and we stayed out there til 1am. There was a meteor shower and we saw SO many shooting stars/meteors that it was just amazing! Not only did we watch the show in the sky, but we told stories and played silly games and laughed like crazy. (My family is silly, you know.) ;) Definitely the BEST $20 Ive ever spent. Just when Jeff thinks I spend too much time on Pinterest, I go and pull a rabbit out of the hat. ;) #success
