We had the privilege of taking my sister to Whole Foods for lunch. - TopicsExpress

We had the privilege of taking my sister to Whole Foods for lunch. We had a delightful time with sweet conversation before a warm fire. It was a first for me to eat out, but I had just returned from driving 1500 miles by myself and thought it best to simplify. I terribly missed being in a home with family all around, noise, children, mess, love, care, sharing gratitudes of the past year and hope for the next year. However, today Im especially thankful for a husband who takes his provider role seriously - as he goes to work on Thanksgiving Day. Not before a black forest turkey on stuffing bread from Great Harvest Bread Company (just the bread - sandwich created at home!) :), Kombacha to drink and homemade peach pie just out of the oven with vanilla coconut cream agave ice cream on top. We prepared for today by (last night) watching a documentary on the Pilgrims that was so enlightening and reading the story of Squanto to the grandchildren the night before. This year has been a very difficult year for us -- much loss. Much pain. However, loss and pain are the seeds that bring forth resurrection life in the way of opportunity for personal and family growth. That is our prayer for the time between now and next Thanksgiving. Holy days just wouldnt be holy without the time set aside to remember. Sending love to all of our family, families-in-law, and dear friends God has blessed us with. We love and appreciate having each and everyone of you in our lives. Dearmans, Cathy-Mark Arnold, Pappa Moses, April Moses, Paula McCloskey, Desirée Ferrazzano, Nick Fowler, Hannah Fowler.
