We have a very sweet and loving lab that we adopted 3 years ago. Our neighbors have an older medium sized dog and another smaller dog and 3 children. The man living there told me that had a bad experience as a child where a large dog jumped up on his shoulders and bit his chin. So every time he is in my dogs presence, he is very fearful and has even been mean to my dog with his trimmer (but told me he didnt see my dog at the fence when he was trimming). We do interact with this family here and there. I know that I cant change this persons mind to like my dog but is there any advice for this?
