We have done it, 3321 miles in a 45 year old exarmy landrover ambulance across the Sahara. Friendly Morocco, no-mans Western Sahara, Mauritanian dump, dodgy Senegal, smiling Gambia. Desert,mountains, hills and valleys, unbelievable scenery and sights and lot of hard work. Breakdowns, vehicle fires, dodgy policemen, fleecing gangs and corrupt officials. emotional roller coaster of a ride. Faces of the kids in the Gambia, worth every minute.
