We have interweaved office work and home remodeling today...I always attempt to make chicken crap, chicken salad in most all circumstances...I am blessed to have a job that provides a livelihood for our family...In hopes I always remain grateful to God to have the capability to contribute to our business....Remodeling our home, has our bedroom furniture, clothes, shoes and sundry items, under the carport...We have a bed and TV...I think of my life, many have no furniture, no clothes, no shoes, no bed, no TV...I would be ashamed to whine nor gripe, while positive accomplishments are capable of being made in my life...How ungrateful to complain of minor discomforts...Mama would tell me as a child Never complain of no shoes, some folks have no feet...The automobile accident in my home town of Farmerville today, a man and two children perished in the wreck, the automobile crashed, then caught fire...made for a sincere discussion of our lives, while Bobby and I went into West Monroe at 8:00 to meet my Doctor.....Attempting to discover if some of our family or local friends were involved, we learned they were not... A relief to us, but not to the family of the dead...I shared with Bobby, that if I or my family, found ourselves in a similar crisis, there was no better place for it to occur, than in Union Parish ....One could travel far and near, never ever, find a better, more professional and well-trained group of first responders, fire personnel, police officers, ambulance, nor hospital, in the USA...We cannot predict our future, it is best we do not know what the future holds...But if in need, Union Parish rescue personnel are the best...Life changing events occurred today, but our people in response and so many are volunteers, did not waiver...Thank you to this wonderful group of men and women, seems so small, but its a good start. All should be honored!
