We have just spent ten wonderful,pollution free days in the Kruger Park....BUT.... a Rhino was poached just outside Timbavati, the carcus was in full view of the road. These poachers are getting more and more sure of themselves....they are not even doing the dreadful deed of shooting and then hacking off the horns in deep bush. Why? The lions, who were feeding off the Rhino, were the only things getting anything out of the ordeal.....very upsetting.

So, once again, poor timing for Gus seeing as his need for a lion
