We have made God into a mystical being that is far away from us in Heaven. We beg for his mercy and plead for his attention. How can we receive answers from him when we start from that fundamentally wrong place? When you have believed, He resides within you. He functions inside of you, he speaks inside of you - faith should be in your mouth, in your acts and in your thoughts. He is not separate from us deciding if he likes you today - He sent his son for you to die in your place, what more does He have to do to prove himself? The problem is we use human psychology to work things out and have neglected faith and the word of God. We have separated God from his acts and just worship his being for who he is. God says, sure thats nice but get with the program people - I want to save the lost, thats why I sent my son. If you are not reaching out to the world, you are only sitting and basking in your own situation, youre never going to move forward and flourish in the fulness of what could be in your life.
