We have no permanent money supply in this country. If someone doesnt borrow money, it doesnt exist. Yet, our entire system relies on money to function. This is an absurd predicament, yet very few people discuss it today, unlike in the 19th century, when it was a top story. “The privilege of creating and issuing money is not only the supreme prerogative of Government, but it is the Governments greatest creative opportunity.
