We have received several circulars from the Board last week, append below the summary for your kind reference, and feel free to log in to the board’s website lppeh.gov.my for more detail. 1- The Board has decided to increase the number of negotiators from 20 to 30 per registered estate agent subject to application and approval by the board. 2- With effective 1st June 2014, all new and existing negotiators who what to be registered shall attend a two days course. 3- The board has amended the Malaysia Estate Agency Standards and the standards shall come into force on 1st June 2014. MegaHarta Real Estate is in the process of getting the standard printed, you can buy it from the office at RM 18 once it’s ready.(Targeted Mid July 2014) 4- Board has issued the guidelines to be adhered by all registered negotiators: a) It’s compulsory for all negotiators to wear their REN tag during their course of business. b) The REN numbers shall be included in all print and digital marketing materials. c) REN tag must be surrender to the firm upon any termination or resignation of negotiators. d) The firm must notify the board in writing for any termination or resignation of registered negotiator, and return the REN tag to the board. e) RM 50 will be levied by board for any replacement of REN’s tag. f) Any offence or wrongdoing committed by negotiators will be recorded which will be used to evaluate and determine the negotiators renewal.
