We have to go work on taxes again tomorrow. We went last week to H&R block and we were not pleased with their charges or the fact that they wanted to incorrectly claim deductions on Jonathans overtime job to save us more money, even though it should be claimed on his actual job. So were going back to our regular tax lady because wed rather be honest and pay what we actually owe instead of cheating to save a few bucks. Im nervous to find out how much we owe - its going to hurt! Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are Gods servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.
