We held our AGM last Thursday. Some of our achievements from 2013 were highlighted - for example we helped 420 people to get involved in volunteering last year and 244 placements were made! Well done SVC and of course all of you without whom we couldnt exist! We would like to welcome our incoming Chair, Mr. Larry Mullin and indeed our incoming members - Shupai Matewa, Kathya Rouse, Tara Taheny, Hugh MacConville, Cllr. Joe Queenan and Bartley Gavin. A huge THANK YOU also to our outgoing Chair - Dr. Maria Gallo who is stepping into the Vice Chair role for the next year as she will be off on Maternity Leave. Maria gave a comprehensive presentation on our new Strategic Plan which we are excited to get stuck into!
