We hope you have had a great start to 2014. Karin and I have already embarked on some exciting adventures since the beginning of 2014; We finished 2013 with a bang - filming our first art of motion Pilates DVD in Hamburg (Germany). Take a look at the promo DVD! You will see the movements speak for themselves (no German needed), however we are hoping to recreate an English version soon. art-of-motion/art-of-motion_fotogalerie.html At the end of February Karin and Julie Hammond taught the very first Anatomy Trains course (for Tom W. Myers) which had a manual and a movement component to it. As an assistant at this very successful course, I was able to witness personally, how complementary and necessary both techniques are to achieving a balanced and holistic posture! To top it off, I was able to meet Tom W. Myers in person. At the beginning of March, Dr. Bonnie Furzer and I started our first art of motion Matwork Certification at the University of Western Australia. A specialised course for Exercise Physiologists, Personal Trainers, art of motion Clients as well as Movement and Manual Therapists. The adventures continue... What can you look forward to? Matwork Certification commencing in May. This course will be held in the beautiful South West in Margaret River at the art of motion Movement Studio. Make the most of it and book our Early Bird rate valid until the 9 April 2014. Are you an existing teacher living in the area? Then make use of this one time opportunity to refresh or expand your existing knowledge. You can book an individual course or an Education Package.
