We just watched E.T. with Anna for the first time. Wow, what a masterpiece of film making. Steven Spielberg really did an amazing job with that film and even 30 some odd years later this movie still manages to be both awe inspiring and touching. Anna whole-heartedly agreed. If you havent sat down and watch this movie or you havent seen it in years, you need to. One of the things that we particularly enjoyed is how John Williams score was more than a background piece but more like a character itself. There is almost no point in the movie when the music doesnt play a key part at telling the story.
