We know this is the news you’re all waiting for: GIS ARE - TopicsExpress

We know this is the news you’re all waiting for: GIS ARE STARTING TO COME OFF THE LINE! We’ve spent just about every day these past few weeks at our manufacturer, with Adrienne sitting in with their sewing teams to pitch in on the project. After a lot more hours than we ever anticipated, we can say with confidence that we are pleased with the finished product that we’re seeing. We have received the first gis off of the manufacturing line with our corrections in place, and we are happy with the stitch per inch issue that we mentioned in our last update. In order to remedy this, some Blue Dream gis will have natural contrast stitching and some have blue stitching that matches the fabric. This allowed us to correct the stitching issues and provide the best possible product. If contrast stitching (or not having contrast stitching) is a deal breaker for any of you folks, simply let us know and we will accommodate your refund or happily apply a credit towards other gear. This goes for any other reason that you might be unhappy with your gear from The Green Gi, too. Here’s our current schedule, including production, inspection, and SHIPPING! A2s and A3s are being finished this week, and we will be working to inspect each gi next week. We plan to have all A2s and A3s shipped by May 17, as long as we don’t find any defects with the product. A0, A1, and A4 gis will be completed by May 16, and we will complete our inspection of these sizes and ship them by May 24. We are happy to announce that we have sold all of our Blue Dream gis. While we’re very excited about all of our new customers, we are also facing a potential shortage with some sizes. Some of the gis made in earlier batches are simply not up to our standards, and we do not want to deliver these to our customers. This, unfortunately, means that we may actually be unable to deliver a few of the gis that were ordered. We are waiting for a final number on which sizes we will be short on, and will be reaching out to customers individually as necessary. If you are reluctant to wait a few more weeks for your gi, or would prefer to have a refund, please let us know. We are happy offer refunds, or alternate merchandise for our customers. Starting a company committed to using eco friendly textiles and American manufacturing has surely been a challenge, and we know that this process has especially challenged the patience of early adopters (this means YOU!). Thank you for being a part what we hope is a spark of change in the grappling community. We hope that you will be thrilled with your Blue Dream gi. You deserve nothing less.
