We left Mara Naboisho Conservancy yesterday, having enjoyed the hospitality, good food and solar power (read: charging needs:-)) at our home away from home, Basecamp Eagle View. Mara Naboisho and neighbouring Ol Kinyei and Olare Motorogi Conservancy represent extremely important habitat for elephants. The in-kind support from Basecamp Explorer via accommodation costs that our modest research budget can tolerate often inspires us to use Eagle View when we’re working in this part of the expansive Mara ecosystem.
